Race Format

Type                                                                       Giant Slalom, two runs

Basis                                                                      each run will count for individual standings as well as team points

                                                                                the top 4 finishes for each team, in each run, will count for team points

DQ / DNF                                                              all racers will be permitted two runs

Individual                                                              first through sixth medals in each age / gender class

OPTIONAL TRAINING DAY

THURSDAY

MARCH 19

Recognizing that many athletes are at Gunstock the day before the clinic, we are pleased to offer an optional training day with GSC coaches.  We emphasize the optional nature of this training day.  The training field will be limited; and filled on a ‘first come’ basis.  In addition to athletes qualified to the Francis Piche Invitational, guest athletes between the ages of 8 and 14 are welcome to the optional training day – space permitting.  Each participant must hold a valid USSA Competitor’s License.

To assist us in organizing training for maximum athlete benefit, we request that athletes pre-register.  Kindly send the registration form and fee to Laurie Osuchowski, 7 Serenity Lane, Meredith, NH, 03253.  We appreciate receiving this registration no later than March 9, 2009.  We will make every effort to accept late registrations, subject to space availability.
